There is an old saying that eating radish in winter and eating ginger in summer keeps the doctor away.

Many people like eating some ginger in summer because it is an healthy life style which can prevent and cure disease in their mind. However, it is not good to eat for all of us.

Eating ginger in summer need to combine with your own condition. Ginger belongs to acrid-warm herbs relieving superficies. It is tend to make people feel warm and generate fire inside body. So it is proper to people whose body is often cold. And it can cure cold due to wind cold weather, nausea with cold stomach, vomit, inappetence, chill and fever, cough and expectoration. However, people who often feel hot is not adapt to eat much ginger in summer. It will aggravate excessive internal heat.

In addition, people who have oral ulcer, acne, high blood pressure, insomnia, halitosis, constipation, diabetes are not adapt to eat too much ginger in summer too.
